Intercollegiate and Professional Sport Management Master’s Degree
The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Intercollegiate and Professional Sport Management prepares graduates for leadership and management-level careers in college, amateur and professional sport organizations, teams, and events. This program is distinguished by its inclusion of topics in youth and intercollegiate athletics with specialization areas such as diversity in sport leadership, sport analytics, and governance. This program allows students to choose a sequence of courses emphasizing intercollegiate athletic or professional sport management.

Undergraduate Certificate in Sport Leadership and Management
Sport is a multi-billion dollar industry that requires professionals with a range of management and leadership skills. Through the Sport Leadership and Management Certificate students will be prepared to assume the responsibilities for developing professional and amateur athletes and managing sports programs in a variety of academic, public and private sectors. Career opportunities exist in intercollegiate athletics, professional sport, major sports events, community-based sport, community relations, and sports marketing, ticket sales, and promotion.
Sports Business Classroom Business of Basketball Program
Sports Business Classroom, in partnership with the UNLV Sports Innovation Institute and Taco Bell Foundation/Diversified Restaurant Group, offered five UNLV students enrolled in the IPSM master’s degree program the opportunity to earn a Certificate in the Business of Basketball. The program aims to develop the basketball business stars of tomorrow by offering an immersive educational and training experience designed by the basketball industry’s leading professionals.
To obtain the Business of Basketball Certification, students attended Sports Business Classroom’s Business of Basketball Immersive Experience, which took place during the 2023 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The five students who completed the program were Solomon Escalante, Bryce Hinton, Kimya Oliver, Ramon Peralta, and Ashley Scoggin.
