
Margo received a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Idaho and a Master of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies from UNLV. As a graduate student at UNLV, her research focused on sport media, specifically gender bias in media coverage of student-athletes on NCAA Athletic Department home webpages. Her research was published in the International Review for the Sociology of Sport. She also worked in the athletic department as a sports information intern and taught Journalism 101 as a graduate assistant.
After graduation, Margo stayed in the UNLV Athletics family for two years as the women’s basketball program coordinator. She was then hired by the Las Vegas Raiders and spent nearly five years with the team. She worked in their Premium Service and Suite Service Departments, overseeing over $15M in annual suite revenue. Margo was with the team during its inaugural season in Las Vegas and helped open Allegiant Stadium.
