
Kate is a first-year graduate student in the Kinesiology program with a clear mission to bridge the gap between the worlds of sports science and athletics. Currently, Kate holds dual roles as a graduate assistant at UNLV Sports Innovation and within the UNLV Sport Science Department. In these capacities, she engages in cutting-edge research focused on optimizing athletic performance and reducing injury risks, while also contributing to the broader understanding of human movement.
Kate’s journey in sports began as a competitive swimmer, representing UNLV as a proud alumni of the swim team. Originating from Belarus, she brings a diverse perspective to her studies, aiming to translate research findings into practical benefits for athletes. Her goal is to make a meaningful impact at the intersection of sports science and athletics.
