Alexander Jones is a Graduate Assistant with the UNLV Sports Innovation Institute.

Alex is currently pursuing his M.Ed. in Intercollegiate and Professional Sports Management at UNLV. He earned his B.S. in Recreation and Sports Management from Utah Tech University, where he was a three-time Dean’s List honoree.

With nearly four years of experience in city recreation and two years in collegiate athletics, Alex has developed expertise across diverse sport environments. At Utah Tech University, he managed gameday operations including video board production, sponsor activations, and in-game entertainment as a DJ across multiple Division I sports. Beyond gameday, Alex has organized tournaments and sports leagues spanning dozens of sports, demonstrating his commitment to community engagement and athletic programming.

Additionally, Alex has volunteered with the PGA Tour and Las Vegas Aces further broadening his experience in professional sports operations and fan services.

Alex is passionate about the intersection of sports marketing, event management, athlete development, and creating memorable fan experiences.
